Now in its 2nd edition, the Ethiopia food show 2026 returns to Addis Ababa, showcasing the impressive growth and vast potential of Ethiopia’s food & beverage trade.
The exhibition takes place at a time when Ethiopia’s rapidly developing reform and investment-driven economy is making enormous strides. According to the IMF, Ethiopia is forecast to grow by 9.2% in 2026, making it Africa’s fastest-growing economy.
So it comes as no surprise that exhibitors from across Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East have confirmed their participation. Companies from Brazil, China, Denmark, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Spain, Tunisia, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom underline the event’s truly global reach.
A particularly strong presence from Ethiopian exhibitors is complemented by official national pavilions from Brazil, China and Italy.

Organised by fairtrade Messe in cooperation with local partners Prana Events, the exhibition will bring together thousands of industry professionals from Ethiopia and around the globe, making it a must-attend event for anyone invested in the future of F&B trade in the region.
Featuring major Brazilian exhibitors, the Brazil Pavilion in 2026 is supported by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Brazil to Ethiopia. As in 2025, the Pavilion will officially be opened by major governmental representatives and the Ambassador of Brazil to Ethiopia.

The official collective participation of Italian companies is presented by ITA Italian Trade Agency and supported by the Italian trade agencies ACIMGA, AMAPLAST, ANIMA and UCIMA.

Trade visitors came from 53 countries in 2025 - from Ethiopia, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the world over.
